Why I love Close To My Heart!

I love Close to My Heart! I was first introduced to the company when they were wood mounted stamps and operating under the company name, "DOTS." I feel in love with stamping and was happy making cards , learning new techniques, and seeing what wonderful creations I could create. I became a consultant for the company a few years ago. I joined to receive a discount and to add to my obsessive stamp collection. I never had the intention or thought that I would ever scrapbook. I have two boys and assumed that they would never care about having a book of their own. I however slowly started to scrapbook soon after becoming a consultant and feel in love! I started by involving myself in a group swap. I would make several pages, swap with others in the group, and then after assembling them adding them to my stash in the closet. One summer I bought my boys an inflatable slide. I took several pictures of them splashing, playing, and braving the cold water. I decided for my next swap I would actually scrapbook those pictures I took. I will never forget the reaction or comment I received from my oldest son. He looked at the pages and said, "Oh cool! You are supposed to put pictures on them?" That moment totally changed my outlook on scrap booking. Boys really do love to see their memories scrap booked and saved on pages to cherish forever. I have lots of catching up to do but I love that Close to My Heart makes it, "Faster, Simpler, and Easier!"
